Double the fun!

Yay for double joggers! WOO HOO :)

Allie is 4 months!

At Allie's 4 month check up her doctor said she looks great and she's growing to be SO big and beautiful! Even Dr. Patel thinks she looks just like her Daddy :) I've had to start supplementing formula since she has been kinda fussy and hungry lately. We've tried rice cereal a few times, but she isn't sure if she likes it or not. We'll keep at it though. She can lift her head all the way up and prop on her elbows. She can almost roll over from her back to her belly. If you lay her on her back she can rotate on her back. Dave found this out when he layed her in her crib one night when I was at work and in the morning she was upside down. She is SO smiley and happy in the morning. It doesn't matter how exhausted I am, when I see her smiley face and hear her laugh when I kiss her belly it makes my day! :) I really love this little one so much and am so grateful for my beautiful baby girls! It doesn't get better than this, I'm sure of it.

Weight- 15lbs 2 oz. (81st percentile)

Height- 25.25 in (82nd percentile)
Head Circumference- ? (49th percentile)

P.S. Allie loves her big sister so much. She will stop crying instantly if Rylee talks to her or comes up to her for a kiss. It's so sweet! And in the car she has to be able to see Rylee sitting next to her. Rylee loves Allie too. She is always looking out for her and has to give her a kiss good night, whether she is already sleeping or not! My heart bursts for these two!

Dave's 30th... Surprise!

I know you can't read the invitation, so here's what it says: There's a birthday party and you're invited to show but don't tell Dave, Shawn, or Brad because they don't know. So if you can make it, here's a word to the wise: Make sure to come early 'cause it's a surprise! It was so much fun! Planning this was a little crazy and chaotic, but it ended up being a fun time. Dave had absolutely no idea (he says so anyways). Brad and Shawn thought they were just supposed to keep Dave occupied for a couple of hours so we could plan and decorate for his party. I couldn't have pulled it off without them! It was great to see their faces when they walked in and realized it was for their birthdays too :) Happy 30th Birthday Dave! We love you! XOXO

Gallbladder Schmallbladder

Apparently a common complication of pregnancy is the formation of gall stones that become painful and this condition often requires surgical removal of the gallbladder. Apparently. Well since I have been pregnant a lot lately, I must have developed some of these "stones" and while celebrating my mom's birthday in Bisbee at Screaming Banshee (which is awesome, btw) I thought I was having a mini heart attack. I gave birth to an ALMOST 9 lb baby NATURALLY (read: no effective pain medication on board, no functioning epidural) and I would much rather experience that again than have to go through another gallbladder "attack".
It was so bad Dave drove from Bisbee to Sierra Vista in about 10 minutes. I think he was a little scared of all of the poopy diapers he would have to change if I died. Kidding (kinda). I am not one to show up to work when I don't HAVE to be there. So to be at the SV ER on a Saturday night and NOT be getting paid... it was serious. I was diagnosed with gallstones and the pain went away on its own, thankfully. I followed up with a surgeon outpatient and had it removed Feb. 3 laparoscopically. There will be no fun photos in this post because I don't want to show off my battle scars just yet. Just know that as far as I am concerned the gallbladder is an extra organ I don't need and I am glad to be rid of it :) The End.

3 years of marriage!

It's hard to believe we've been married 3 years already. Some days it seems shorter, some days it seems longer! :) But everyday I am so thankful to have my best friend by my side. I love you baby! (P.S. Our anniversary was Dec. 29th, but since I had a baby and surgery and all that hooplah, we're going to pretend this post was on time)
